The Online Conference of Initial Programme of Acreditation Undergradue Economics Study Program Universitas Andalas
The Department of Economics together with the Management, and Accounting Department Program are conducting Online Visits 14-17 February 2022 International Accreditation FIBAA (Foundation International Business Administration Accreditation for Undergraduate and Magister level Study Program
Assessment in the form of panel interviews is carried out to University management, Study Program Management, Lecturers, Students, Alumni, and education staff. The interview team from FIBAA confirmed the Self Evaluation Report (SER) document that had been prepared by each study program.
The purpose of this activity is to increase the capacity of the Undergraduate of Economics Study Program which had previously been accredited A from the National Accreditation Board - Higher Education (BAN-PT) and this Study Program was certified by the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA)
Andalas University Rector Prof. Dr. Yuliandri, SH, MA officially welcomed the FIBAA Visitation Team online accompanied by the Vice-Rector 1, 2, 3, and 4. This activity was also fully supported by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Andalas University, Dr. Efa Yonnedi together with the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Academic Affairs, Dr. Endrizal Ridwan, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Resources Dr. Fery Andrianus, and Vice-Dean for Students and Cooperation, Dr. Ma'ruf.
According to the Head of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, Andalas University, Dr. Fajri Muharja explained, this accreditation aims to develop and strengthen the capacity of the Economics Study Program both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels to be able to compete at the global level in carrying out education, research, community service activities (UJ01)

Outbound and Annual Work Meeting 2021-2022
Lecturers and Academic Staff of the Department of Economics and their families carry out outbound activities with family outbound. This activity is part of the FEUNAND Annual Work Meeting activities in Bukittinggi City, November 26 until 28, 2022. This work meeting at the Faculty of Economics aims to finalize the work program of each department in the Faculty of Economics. Involving the family and children of lecturers and academic staff makes a strong bond in the big family of the Faculty of Economics Universitas Andalas. This is expected to be able to create collective action together
To provide comfortable learning and completing the final project as well as a comfortable discussion room. Department provides Cubical and Seminar Room for students
Andalas University has a Central Library that can be accessed digitally by students
both from inside and outside the campus
NEW STUDENT MEET WITH ALUMNI
The Department of Economics on Saturday, September 11, 2022, online presents Alumni for new students in 2020 in order to build motivation to start studying with enthusiasm, achievement, and independence to compete at the global level. This session was filled by MILLENNIAL Alumni: 1) Jorrie Andrea (Young Diplomat at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chicago US, 2) Heranof Al Basyid (CNN Indonesia TV News Anchor), and 3) Pujawan Mauliddean Nover (HR Core-Coffee).
According to alumni, a student of Economics must be able to work hard, work smart, and work sincerely in learning in order to face a challenging future. As a student, you shouldn't complain easily, you must be able to use logic and analysis well, communicate in a global language well and uphold academic ethics
