The Department of Economics together with the Management, and Accounting Department Program are conducting Online Visits 14-17 February 2022 International Accreditation FIBAA (Foundation International Business Administration Accreditation for Undergraduate and Magister level Study Program

Assessment in the form of panel interviews is carried out to University management, Study Program Management, Lecturers, Students, Alumni, and education staff. The interview team from FIBAA confirmed the Self Evaluation Report (SER) document that had been prepared by each study program.

The purpose of this activity is to increase the capacity of the Undergraduate of Economics Study Program which had previously been accredited A from the National Accreditation Board - Higher Education (BAN-PT) and this Study Program was certified by the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA)

Andalas University Rector Prof. Dr. Yuliandri, SH, MA officially welcomed the FIBAA Visitation Team online accompanied by the Vice-Rector 1, 2, 3, and 4. This activity was also fully supported by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Andalas University, Dr. Efa Yonnedi together with the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Academic Affairs, Dr. Endrizal Ridwan, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Resources Dr. Fery Andrianus, and Vice-Dean for Students and Cooperation, Dr. Ma'ruf.

According to the Head of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, Andalas University, Dr. Fajri Muharja explained, this accreditation aims to develop and strengthen the capacity of the Economics Study Program both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels to be able to compete at the global level in carrying out education, research, community service activities (UJ01)
